The chess club of Science Tokyo (ChessTech) has organised this seven-round rapid tournament twice: on 20 April 2025 and on 19 October 2025 (the 2nd), both listed by the Japan Chess Federation as an official rapid event on the Ōokayama campus. The federation's calendar of 2026 lists no third edition so far, so the series is confirmed to 19 October 2025. Placed in Tokyo by the campus: the federation notices name Science Tokyo's Ōokayama campus, which the university's encyclopedia entry places in Meguro (the October notice prints Ōta ward for the same campus).
